BELLMEAD’S BOOMING!  We have celebrated two new Grand Openings recently! First Central Credit Union had their Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Feb. 5. They are located on 3100 Bellmead Drive in the old La Vega ISD Administration building.  This represents a huge investment in our community and another 15 jobs for Bellmead.… Read the rest

The first City Council meeting for 2014 began at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14. We started with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance and followed with a public comment period. Bellmead Update January

BELLMEAD’S BOOMING! Looking back on 2013 we can see that it was another great year for Bellmead. We began a five-year capital improvement plan and purchased many things to prepare for our future. We have several new police vehicles added to our fleet, 22 banquet tables and 100 chairs for the Civic Center, a thermal imager for the fire department and a Ford F-250 Super Cab pickup for the streets department.… Read the rest
